DR. HILDEGARD KELLER-KERN – Managing Director and Member of the Executive Board, Icon Added Value, Germany
Hildegard joined Icon as Director in 1997, became Managing Director in March 1998 and has been on the Board since 2004. Her clients are mainly in consumer goods and the service sector and include Molkerei Müller, Nestle, Telegate, Tetrapak, Unilever, RWE and Novartis/MRC. She has a supporting role in developing the company’s admin and control systems and responsibility for R&D.
Hildegard started her professional career with Procter & Gamble in technical brand management in 1980. Moving into strategic marketing in 1986, she then held positions within RJR (83 – 89) and Campina (95 – 97). From 1992 to 1995 she supported Y&R in strategic planning and new business acquisition.
Hildegard studied chemistry in Vienna, receiving her Ph.D. in 1977 and enjoys spending time with her son, aged 16, and her pet dog.
 
KARIN GEBHARDT– Managing Director and Member of the Executive Board, Icon Added Value, Germany
After completing a European program of business studies at Reims (France) and Reutlingen (Germany) Karin worked in various marketing functions within Procter & Gamble and Milupa Baby Food (1985 to 1994) and as Marketing Director and General Manager for Schöller ice cream (1994 to 1999). In 1999 and 2000 Karin was heading an independant brand consultancy before joining Icon. 

Her areas of expertise are in FMCG in general, food, cosmetics, retail trade, Eastern Europe brand value management, communication, brand strategy consulting, brand implementation consulting. Karins Key Clients are Tchibo (coffee and retail trade), Siemens, Volvo Construction Equipment, Guhl Ikebana (cosmetics), Pearle Group (opticians).  Karin is married, has two daughters, she likes family days, fitness workouts and trips to foreign countries. 

KLAUS FELDMANN – Managing Director and Member of the Executive Board, Icon Added Value, Germany  
Klaus joined icon in 1994 as a Consultant, became Managing Director in 2001 and is now – together with his partner Robert Perl – responsible for the german industry practice financial/services. Prior to joining icon, Klaus was a Consultant for Germany’s - at that time - leading marketing & sales management consultancy Gruber, Titze & Partner in Bad Homburg.

Today his key clients covers leading brands from the banking-, building society- insurance- and investment fund-industry. Klaus concentrates on questions h2 increase “return on brand investment”. Klaus helds a degree in business administration from the university of Nuremberg and is a passionate father of his 5 year old son, fascinated cook, wine-fan & hunter, motorbike driver, diver…

KAI LOCKERMANN – Managing Director and Member of the Executive Board, Icon Added Value, Germany 
Kai joined Icon in 2000 as a Senior Consultant and became Managing Director in April 2003. His key clients include accenture, BMW, Microsoft, RWE, Daimler Chrysler, Nikon and a number of food companies.

Prior to joining Icon, Kai held marketing positions in a number of countries for the Storck Confectionery Group and Schöller ice cream. Kai’s passions include running, playing tennis and his two children.
 
 


DR. OLIVER NICKEL – Managing Director and Member of the Executive Board, Icon Added Value, Germany
Oliver joined Icon in 1997. His key clients include Peugeot, Heidelberg printing machines, Deutsche Bahn and Scout24, the online marketplace. After studying economical engineering in Karlsruhe from 1991 to 1996, Oliver worked at the Institute for Consumer and Behavioural Research (University of Saarland) finishing his doctoral thesis on strategic advertising planning in 1997. At the same time, he led a number of consulting projects on branding and communication. He has also had several university teaching positions in consumer psychology (2000) and brand management (2003).
Oliver is married with two children and loves classic cars and Mediterranean nature.
 

 

ROBERT PERL – Managing Director and Member of the Executive Board, Icon Added Value, Germany
Robert has been a Managing Director of Icon Brand Navigation since 1999. His key clients include Allianz Group and Deutsche Post. Previously he worked as a consultant for and later director of Icon Business Consulting.

Before joining Icon, Robert worked as a project manager brand communications for GfK Group. He has a Dipl.-Kfm from the Friedrich-Alexander-University, Erlangen-Nuremberg.


 

HELMUT THIENEL – CFO, Icon Added Value, Germany                
After studying  economics and business administration, Helmut was a Financial Controller at Motorola in various business in Germany and the UK based headquarters from 1990 to 1998. Subsequently, he joined Dell's senior management team in Central Europe in Langen as Finance Manager for Germany and Austria. From 2002 he worked as a Management Consultant and co-funded a start-up in Nuremberg in the financial services sector. Helmut joined Icon as CFO in August 2004.
His areas of expertise are Finance, Accounting and Controlling, Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting based on US/UK GAAP, IFRS and German GAAP (HGB), IT Systems, Standards of Internal Controll incl.
