KEITH STEVENS - Managing Director, Added Value, South Africa
Keith was appointed Managing Director of Added Value in August 2006, drawn to the company by its energy and its people.
An accomplished marketer, Keith’s career has spanned over 20 years in FMCG, Hospitality, and Technology, in both developed and developing markets. He is particularly interested in strategy and innovation.

Prior to accepting the role of MD at Added Value, Keith was the Confectionery Category Director at Masterfoods South Africa. Recently lured to South African shores by his South African wife, his UK experience included leadership roles with companies like Mars Confectionery, Polaroid and Forte/Posthouse Hotels, where he earned a formidable reputation for growing brands, people and profits.
He graduated from Southampton University with BSc Psychology.
An active father of 3, Keith is also a notorious dinner host, as much at home behind the stove and choosing a great bottle of wine as he is developing brand strategies. He keeps the kilos off hiking, playing rugby with his boys and enjoying the benefits of yoga.

ALISON TUCKER - Director, Added Value, South Africa
Alison joined Added Value in 2003 and has led the South African business since 2004.  Her experience here has included a variety of industries such as alcohol, tobacco, foods and entertainment, working in East and West Africa, India and the Far East as well as within South Africa. Her particular passion is for consumer insight, brand innovation and packaging and she thrives on developing young South African marketing talent.

Alison joined Unilever as a Marketing Graduate Trainee and spent 16 years there, working in many of the personal care and food product categories, on local brands such as Simonsberg and global brands such as Flora and Impulse.  Her Unilever experience spanned classical brand and marketing management, as well as consumer insight and media.
Alison has a degree in commerce from Rhodes University with Psychology, Business Administration and Mercantile Law majors.  She gained an MA in Commerce in 1986 with a thesis focusing on marketing and innovation. She gets a thrill from finishing the 89,9km Comrades Ultra Marathon, discovering a delectable new restaurant or wine and arriving in a foreign country for the first time. Then arriving home to a welcome purr from her much adored cat, Sushi, and a great meal cooked by partner, Michael.

WENDY DAVIES – Director, Added Value, South Africa
Wendy has been with Added Value since 1999 and currently heads up our insight offer within the South African business. She specializes in quantitative insight and the wonderful world of numbers!

Prior to joining Added Value, Wendy worked for Millward Brown in the UK for 4 years. Throughout her working career, she has worked with a complete mix of different clients across a broad range of strategic marketing challenges. She enjoys sitting on her deck in the South African sun – enjoying an ice-cold Gin and Tonic on the rocks!

EDEN LANSER – Director, Added Value, South Africa

Eden is a marketing man through and through.  A graduate from the University of Johannesburg, he’s worked on some of the South Africa’s most well recognized brands.

Starting his career as a trainee at Bristol Myers Squib, he’s also watched lots of cricket with British American Tobacco’s B&H, taste-tested his way through innumerable Wimpy burgers and Milky Lane ice creams at Pleasure Foods and, thankfully, learnt to brush his teeth properly at Colgate Palmolive.

Eden joined Added Value from Diageo, where as Marketing Manager for the Windhoek and Guinness brands, he spent most of his time drinking beer in Mozambique with ex FRELIMO and RENAMO soldiers.

Eden’s an eclectic kind of guy.  In his spare time he’s keen squash player, a movie fanatic, a hands-on dad and a prolific reader.  He’s also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, which he thinks makes him an epic explorer.  And he’s not terribly fond of biographies.
